As Diamonds and Dials is a business, it needs to generate income and as I don’t sell any products, I have other ways of making money, which I will cover below:
Affiliate Marketing
One of the primary ways I make money is through what is known as affiliate marketing, which in its simplest form means that if you make a purchase through one of the links on Diamonds and Dials, we may earn a small commission from the vendor as a way of thanking us for sending you to their site.
The way this works is that I’m provided with a unique link and when you click on this link, a cookie is placed on your browser that tracks whether or not you make a purchase.
This cookie doesn’t store any personal information about you, it just tracks how you interact with their website after you click on the link.
But and I can’t stress this enough, is that I only partner with companies that have a good reputation and will provide you with a good product and service.
